What is the maximum size allowed of the usage data file (.udb)?
The maximum size allowed of the usage data file is 5 MB.
Are there any specific scenarios and commands for uploading the usage data by SCP?
The offline usage data is uploaded from the proxy machine to SCC in the following cases:

What is the use of the corrupted directory?
When the usage data file is successfully processed and uploaded, its corresponding acknowledgment file (.ack extension) is created under the usageack directory. However, when this usage file processing fails, the same a corresponding file (.udb extension) is moved under the corrupted directory. You may need to send it across to your software vendor.
A lot of usage data files have piled up on the source machine. What can be done?
When the acknowledgment files are copied back to the source machines, the corresponding usage files are automatically removed over a period of time. In case, you are still facing any such issues, contact your software vendor for further guidance about cleaning up the usage data files. Do NOT delete them manually!
